Galway Wind Park project was awarded to Roadbridge in November 2014 and Atlantic Plant Hire & Contract Crushing were contracted to extract site won rock material and process for incorporation into the works.

Project Description:
Rock breaking, Drilling & Blasting of 465,000m³ of rock from onsite borrow pits, processed to required specifications and used in access roads and hardstand construction, saving up to 167,263 t CO₂ from reduced truck movements (approx. 14,500 No) from offsite quarries.
This project is situated near Oughterard, County Galway and will be capable of supplying 220MW of power.
