N11 Arklow to Rathnew Road Development
Contract:
16.5km of dual carriageway on the Arklow to Rathnew section of the N11 along with associated link roads, side roads and junctions which connect the existing N11 Arklow Bypass with the N11 Rathnew/Ashford Bypass.
Client:
BAM PPP on behalf of Wicklow County Council.
Company Involvement:
Atlantic Plant Hire & Contract Crushing was contracted to extract site won rock material and process for incorporation into the works.

Project Description:
This contract comprised the following:
- Drilling & Blasting of 100,000m³ of rock processed and used from within the lands made available for use in mainline and ancillary works on pavement and structural layers.

Project includes for the construction of 14.3km of dual carriageway with 3 major interchanges.
